1. About LarryBooks

LARRYBOOKS LLC, an Ohio limited liability company (referred to in these Terms as “LarryBooks,” “we,” or “us”), operates the LarryBooks platform and provides appointment scheduling, client and staff management, business profiles, booking links, and related online tools. Independent barbers, salons, braiders and other service providers set their own services, prices, availability and customer policies and are responsible for the appointments they fulfill.

2. Eligibility and account security

Business account holders must be legally able to enter agreements, supply accurate information, protect account credentials, and authorize only appropriate people to manage business data. Notify us promptly about suspected unauthorized access. Do not impersonate others or access another business's account without permission.

3. Business responsibilities

• Keep prices, descriptions, durations, business details, staff availability, and cancellation policies accurate.
• Honor accepted appointments or promptly notify affected customers about changes.
• Follow licensing, tax, consumer, advertising, and privacy laws applicable to your business.
• Use customer information responsibly, including permission and legally required opt-outs for marketing.
• Obtain consent and any necessary model releases before sharing client photos or other people's content.

4. Booking appointments

Customers can book using a business's public booking link. Availability is based on the business's settings and can change. The customer-business relationship is directly between the customer and the business; LarryBooks does not guarantee service quality or attendance. See our Customer Booking Policies.

5. Appointment payments and refunds

Some businesses accept pay-at-appointment bookings; others may offer deposits or full online payments through Stripe on the business's connected account. The business is responsible for its service pricing, cancellation and refund decisions subject to applicable law. LarryBooks provides scheduling and payment-related technology, not the beauty or grooming services themselves. For a service refund or dispute, contact the business first.

6. Trials and LarryBooks subscriptions

New business accounts may receive a 14-day free trial. Published monthly plans currently include Solo ($9.99), Professional ($19.99), and Salon ($49.99), billed in USD unless another price or currency is shown during checkout. Paid plans involve real recurring charges through Stripe when a business starts an eligible subscription. Any prior or special billing arrangement is governed by that account's displayed billing status and applicable checkout terms.

When a payment method is added before an eligible trial ends, Stripe may defer the first charge until that original trial end. If the trial has already expired or is about to end, checkout may charge immediately. Stripe checkout shows the amount, billing start, interval, and any applicable tax before you authorize payment. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled. An eligible owner can cancel through the Billing area or Stripe customer portal, normally effective at the end of the current period or trial.

7. Discovery and business photos

Discovery is an optional public directory. Businesses choose whether to appear and may independently choose whether to display a street address; city, state and country may remain public when listed. A business can turn off Discovery, although previously indexed copies or caches may take time to update. Only businesses that opt in and meet the platform's booking-eligibility checks are displayed.

Businesses retain ownership of content they upload. By uploading or publishing photos, logos, service descriptions, text, or other content, a business represents that it owns that content or has obtained all necessary rights, licenses, permissions, consents, and releases to upload it and authorize its display through LarryBooks, including permission from identifiable people shown in photos. The business grants LarryBooks a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, reproduce, adapt for display, and display that content solely to operate the features the business enables, such as public booking pages, business profiles, photo galleries, and optional Discovery listings. This permission does not transfer ownership of the content to LarryBooks. Businesses must not upload unlawful, misleading, infringing, or nonconsensual content. We may restrict or remove content that raises safety, privacy, intellectual property, or legal concerns.

8. Notifications and communications

LarryBooks may send account, payment, booking and appointment-related notices; delivery is not guaranteed. Any promotional messaging must comply with applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements. Businesses are responsible for communications they independently send to customers.

9. Prohibited activity

Do not misuse accounts or data, create spam or fraudulent bookings, interfere with security or availability, make deceptive listings, harass users, misuse payment workflows, or access information without authorization.

10. Third-party services

LarryBooks relies on providers for hosting, identity management, communication, fraud protection and payments. Third-party payment or connected-account features may be subject to separate provider terms.

11. Availability and account restrictions

We may change features or temporarily suspend access for maintenance, billing failures, misuse or security needs. No specific uptime or search ranking is guaranteed. Account closure does not automatically erase information retained to meet legal, tax, security, or dispute-resolution duties.

12. Responsibility and limitations

The service is provided on an as-available basis. LarryBooks is not the provider of an independent business's professional services and is not responsible for that business's work, service outcomes or independently set policies. Nothing here excludes non-waivable consumer rights or remedies available under applicable law.

13. Privacy and changes

See our Privacy Policy. We may revise these Terms and update the date shown above. Material changes will receive additional notice where legally required; updated terms take effect in accordance with applicable law.
